Your wedlog will incorporate a specially enhanced weblog to enable you to share the build-up and excitement of your big occasion with all of your friends and famliy – where-ever they are. Your wedding is a truly special event for you, your family and your friends. A close group will be deeply involved in all of the excitement of the preparations, yet many more would love to share or even be involved in some small way in the process. Distance, age or mobility may restrict the involvement of many people who are close to you and would love to join in this memorable occasion. Wedlog is the solution! Your personal wedlog will enable you to keep a web-based diary of the build up to the wedding. You can post : details of the arrangements progress on events your worries and concerns requests and thanks for help You can add photos of the process at any stage and we will add your video content which people can view in real time or download to view at their leisure. And there is no necessity for people to simply view passively. They can post comments, compliments, advice (?) direct onto the log. And this is only the build up. We have not yet looked at: The ceremony The reception The honeymoon This is where the wedlog really benefits from photos and video clips. Our specially developed interface software makes it extremely easy for you and others to make log entries and for you to upload photos. Then you send your video content to us, we encode it and drop it onto the site as you require. Weblog enables lots of people to share and participate with you in the whole process. After the event you have several options, two interesting ones are: Keep the site on the web and people can relive the wedding at any time, anywhere. No need to wait for the video to come around and no need for you to be continually chasing the copies. Maintain the log for a different purpose. For example you can convert it into a family log, particularly if children are planned.

With this option your site will be hosted on our wedlog server.

Included in this package is your own email address, yourtitle@wedlog.co.uk.

We are able to offer such low rates for our product because we have enabled you to write the detail of your own site. This has two major benefits to you.

1. You can save the cost of us writing up the detail for you.
2. You have the flexibility to change the detail as frequently as you wish, giving you complete ownership of the site.

We have spent serious time, through several product applications, in developing and testing our Granny user interface software (so simple your Granny will love it!). You will receive from us a Wedlog package which includes:

2. Your selected website template.
3. A very user-friendly wedlog writer guide.

Whilst the content of your wedlog is entirely your option and the whole concept is that it reflects your style and outlook, we suggest the following wedlog content considerations:

1. Standard content details-arrangements
   • Location of the wedding ceremony
   • Details of the service – e.g. hymn selection
   • Location of the reception
   • Menu
   • Plan for the day – times etc
   • Directions and map of the church and reception venue
   • Details of local hotels and taxi operators

The inclusion of this detail can be very helpful to attendees and save you a lot of time responding to questions on these subjects.
